Pinocchio?

So today we went to see a specialist at Maternal Fetal Specialist. Yes, the folks I must see because I’m AMA, *sigh*

The office was fairly easy to find and the office was quite clean and professional. Not that I expected anything different. They got us in promptly at our appointment time. The nurse took my weight and blood pressure. It was a little on the high side. I guess I was a bit nervous. We left triage and went to the exam room with the ultrasound machine. Yay! Another sneek peek at little Alpha.

The technician was really rough. Of all the ultrasound techs I’ve had with the first pregnancy and now,  I have never had anyone push so hard on my belly. She might have bruised Alpha. 🙁

The Dr. we saw after, Dr. Charles Reed was quite nice. We liked him okay. He let us now that the nuchal ultrasound looked great. He had no concerns. He did offer us to take blood test for more accuracy regarding chromosome defects. We figured, “sure!”  It will take two weeks for the results to come back.

Heading into work, we noticed something on the ultrasound pic that we did not see when we had Caroline. Ummmm… Alpha has a really big nose! No flat asian nose for this one I guess.
