So after weeks of waiting and several blood draws, it was finally time for the first Ultrasound. As they call it, “the viability scan.”
There was a very strong heartbeat. Alpha is really there! Alpha is growing. Well, Alpha just looks like a dot at this point but hey…we’ll take it.
Along with the excitement of hearing the heartbeat, we also got the news that I’m AMA – Advance Maternal Age. Seriously??? The cut off was 35 years of age. So at 36, they must treat me with extra care. argh…. I am old.
But who cares, there is a baby with a heartbeat inside me again!
